今年的英语整体上还好吧，我做着挺顺利的，除了选择题有几道比较难理解，完形填空有点难度之外，其它的题目，我觉得都还可以。总体上讲，我感觉今年的英语不是特别难，相对平时考试还要简单一些的感觉。不过，我们班有的同学反应今年的试卷还是很难的，可能是我运气好？我做这张试卷，确实不难。
全国乙卷考生：田敏杰（河南）
今年的英语考试，真的是难出了天际，我觉得我九牛二虎之力都用上，各种筛选排除方法解答，都很难考及格。也不知道这英语试卷是谁出的，这么变态。真的是每一场考试都让人受不了，数学难，综合科目难，到现在英语还这么难，还让不让人活了啊，我感觉我都要复读了。
新高考1卷考生：张迪（山东）
新高考1卷，今年就是个“神”。首先是数学考试，难出天际，接着今天的英语也没让人感觉很简单。这难道就是要为难河北，江苏这样的高考强省吗？我做这张高考英语试卷，1/3的选择题部分是蒙的，也不知道能蒙对几道。其它题目做得也是不怎么好，主要是难的我都看不懂啥意思，阅读理解，完型填空都看不懂啥意思。题目出得也太难了。
新高考2卷考生：袁芳芳（辽宁）
今年的英语试卷是真的难，今年从难度上讲，新高考英语卷真的比全国卷难。我做选择题时，都很迷茫，好多题不知道如何选，而做到后面的一些阅读了解，和完型填空，我真的是都不知道选哪些。今年的高考，已经把我考的被淘汰了，还不知道咋弄呢，考的好差劲啊。今年的英语题目，我也是醉了，我全程痛苦，都不想做这张试卷。
天津卷考生：韦清远
很难，今年的天津卷英语很难，我们班的同学也说很难，今年的数学卷，英语卷真快把我考疯了，昨天的语文试卷做得也很一般，不咋顺手。
北京卷考生：宋雅
北京卷的英语，我一直觉得是不怎么难的，我做过近3年北京高考的英语试卷，觉得都还是挺好做的，直到今年的高考，我觉得今年北京高考的英语试卷，真的是有点难，难题占比有点高，接近40%的难题，让人做的崩溃。
浙江卷考生：刘荣明
我做着还可以，因为我英语不怎么好，不管难易，都是不及格。但是我班学霸说，今年的语文难，我个人觉得也挺难。
综上：今年的英语试卷，全国甲卷的考生反应题目是比较简单，但是还有的考生说英语题目挺难的。至于全国乙卷、新高考卷，和其它自主命题省份的英语试卷，都是有一些难度的，并不简单。当试卷都偏向难的时候，就会使得高考选拔人才更精准，但也会导致录取分数线适当的下降，因为题难。对于自主命题省份，和新高考卷来说，接下来还有其它科目的考试，还是不能带着不好的情绪，要调节好情绪，积极应对接下来的考试。而全国卷的考生，考完了就可以好好放松一下了。

Evelyn Glennie was the first lady of solo percussion in Scotland. In an interview, she recalled how she became a percussion soloist (打击乐器独奏演员) in spite of her disability.
